Last week, NEW SPACE PORTUGAL participated in AED DAYS, one of the most significant events in the Portuguese aerospace sector, which marked its 11th edition this year.

O 2.º Encontro Anual das Agendas Mobilizadoras e Agendas Verdes para a Inovação Empresarial decorreu ontem em Santa Maria da Feira, com a participação da New Space Portugal. Uma oportunidade para partilhar os resultados concretizados até ao momento por este grupo de trabalho, como a evolução da Constelação Atlântica, que vai endereçar mercados globais de sustentabilidade e de segurança.

Several companies that are part of the New Space Portugal consortium attended the 16th edition of the European Space Conference, which took place in Brussels at the end of January. Portuguese representation was marked by participation in four debates, with the participation of GEOSAT, CEiiA, N3O and New Space Portugal.

The New Space Portugal consortium held its 1st General Assembly on January 17, 2024, bringing together for the first time the entities that are part of this Agenda, which already has the collaboration of around a thousand professionals with the objective of boosting the Portuguese space sector.

ESA Space Solutions Portugal celebrated its 9th anniversary at an event held on November 30 at the Pedro Nunes Institute in Coimbra. Organised in collaboration with ESA, PT Space and ANACOM, the New Space Portugal agenda was part of one of the topics under debate.

As part of the development of the VDES Constellation (WP11), LusoSpace convened the first face-to-face meeting at its facilities in Lisbon on November 21, 2023, with the objective of sharing the strategic vision and aligning the ambitious planning of the program with the consortium.
