NEW SPACE PORTUGAL took the stage at the 2nd Space Economy Summit, an Economist Impact conference, to position Portugal as a key space hub in Europe, driving innovation through downstream.

New Space Portugal joined the Portuguese delegation at this year’s Space Tech Expo in Bremen, considered the largest B2B event in Europe for the space industry. It was an international opportunity to present the most ambitious program in the Portuguese space sector, particularly the satellite constellations being built in Portugal.

VdA - Vieira de Almeida & Associados, GEOSAT, Nova SBE - School of Business and Economics, and CoLab +Atlantic are organizing a series of User Requirements Workshops this week to identify the Earth Observation data and value-added service needs from providers and end users.

The Importance of Space was the theme highlighted on the program Sociedade Civil on RTP2, featuring the participation of four organizations from the New Space Portugal Agenda: GEOSAT, CEiiA, Omnidea, and N3O.

N3O and OHB Sweden sign a partnership contract at the IAC, in Milan, covering the development, assembly, verification and testing for two Atlantic Constellation VHR satellites. The partnership is part of NEW SPACE PORTUGAL and confirms the country's capacity to produce complete space systems in Portugal, further establishing the country as a space nation. 

The postgraduate Space in National Defense and Security, promoted by the Portuguese Air Force Academy, began this week, marking another important milestone in the implementation of the New Space Portugal Agenda.
